Ace inline four heart in indian carcass

"Evolved from the Henderson motor cycle, the Ace caused a sensation when it was announced and orders poured in. unfortunately, after William Henderson's death, the company got into financial bother and the rights for their famous machine were acquired by Indian."
The Ace motorcycle came to be when the Hendersons split with Ignaz Schwinn of Excelsior (american one) in 1919. William Henderson wanted to continue with bikes and Voila, the Ace was born to the 1920's.
The Indian company eventually bought the ACE design after William Henderson's death in the early twenties and financial problems at The company. The tools, fixtures and parts were moved to springfield in 1927.
