The Original Captain America (via Vintagent)

This post was from the Vintagent blog.
"The caption on the photo says 'Grasstrack, Cedarburg, Wisconsin'. The date is July 1942, and I've never seen an earlier photo of a motorcycle with an American flag painted on the tank. While I'm sure Ben Hardy, creator of the 'Captain America' chopper for the film Easy Rider, had seen this particular motorcycle, it remains nonetheless the progenitor of that 60's icon."

BSA B31 Le Bobber

I was sent these great pictures of a really cool BSA B31 Bobber / Custom bike from France. The guy's called Trividic Roland. He started with an engine and gearbox and some Harley spares and the rest is home made.
There is a blog about it here
Nice to see another one based on the B31.
