I would like to get more info on this mutha. It was on the jj. I see the front has obviously been changed. I whonder if the frame is standard BSA. I notice the stance is good. Despite the single engine being really tall the non standard fuel tank looks good, not all high up and awkwardly perched on the cylinder head like they usually do when I offer up a non standard tank to try.

Oh yeah, that works big time!!!!
ReplyDeleteFrame looks 46 - 48 in the arse end
Yea, I whonder what that tank is? Maybe Bantam, but I have tried a bantam tank on mine and it looked stupid, It fouled on the rocker covers and looked "friscoed" like a sportster or something.
ReplyDeleteman, you would tho, wouldn't you?!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to get more photos, contacted the original snapper of this one.

have they used a 70s unit Triumph-like oil-in-frame section to house the oil under the seat there!?

Looks like some sort of cylindrical oil tank solution
ReplyDeleteyeah, looks like a triumph frame that they retrofitted the rear motor mounts for holding the BSA motor for probably. the fronts mounts are pretty close between those two motors.
