Found a mental flickr. There's no point taking photos at bike shows, there's always somebody who has done the job better. The Haze5555.

    lot's of wow... but especially the drilling...

    lightening hole ( ′lītniŋ ′hōl ) ( civil engineering ) An opening cut into a strengthening member that decreases its weight without significantly altering its strength.

    I sure hope so, but then it does look fairly well tried and tested.
