For anyone who is interested, gaffa tape and hose clips for a test ride. It moves! My clutch repair seems to have worked. Gearbox might need adjusting tho. I edited out the bit where I got a grilling for too much noise.

Congrats and fine buisness on having the bike rideable MP!
ReplyDeleteHere in california it is quite expensive to get an old motorcycle that has been out of the system re-registered and leagal for use on the roads, have you an idea of what the cost will be to do so in england?
One of the more pricey parts of the construction was buying a frame front half with documents. Along the way of collecting parts I have actually ended up with 2 front hoops with road legal documents!
ReplyDeleteOtherwise its just a palarva, not really expensive but more of a hastle.
You took a hard time for the noise that thing makes? Can't imagine why... If you lived on my street the drunk guy up the road would have called the coppers on you in an instant. At least you didn't have to deal with that.
