BSA B series "Thing"

I would like to get more info on this mutha. It was on the jj. I see the front has obviously been changed. I whonder if the frame is standard BSA. I notice the stance is good. Despite the single engine being really tall the non standard fuel tank looks good, not all high up and awkwardly perched on the cylinder head like they usually do when I offer up a non standard tank to try.

Go 2 more main chunks of the BSA. The magneto and a clutch. Also another carb to try. The magneto was done by Chip who does a good magdyno ovehaul at a resonable price, also has bits and stuff. If You want a mag done email him at chipcap01 at hotmail dot com. (just do that email without the spaces and replace 'at' with '@')

1 step forwards, 2 steps back.

I got the cases back from being helicoiled and stuff. Good clean up, nicely assembled. Now the oil pump is super tight. I completely dismantled it and cleaned it. theres no sign of distortion. The pump is so tight it hinders the rotation of the crank. Also somebody cut the cylinder head steady mounting ear off the head, so no mounting point for a head steady. BSA M20 M33 B33
